Ch. 6: I don't know what to call it so it's just Ch. 6

As you know, the day before today Will, Render, Levi, Chair, and Bonnie has spotted land. So on that note, here's the story;

When the crew awoke they were refreshed both physically and mentally. If you recall, Render was very grouchy the day before, but today he was as cheery as a boy scout. Bonnie who was also somewhat bad tempered the day before was as nice as you could imagine! It was the same way with everyone because they were going on dry land today.

For breakfast (which was served at 7:00) they had the last fruit and wine and had a piece of toasted hardtack each. Over breakfast they talked about what happened yesterday. "What do you think caused that?" said Will. "Oh, probably a tropical storm." said Charity who was a seasoned sailor. "Well I love the lightning!" said Render. "Yeah, I can't wait to use mine." said Will. "Well, looks like we're coming close to the shore," said Levi, "Do we swim or row?" "Swim?!" yelled Bonnie, "That shore is three miles away! You guys can swim, but me and Chair will row."

So the riders jumped in the water and the pirates got into the boat. While they were swimming Render kept shocking Will and Levi with his lightning so Will and Levi told Baladon and Clesseath to throw Render out of the water. After about twenty minutes of swimming and rowing the crew was on the island. It was mostly sand and palm forests, but it was an island none the less. They decided to leave the dragons on the beach (because the forest was too thick and take the oars into the woods to use to get fruit off high trees.

You might be wondering why Render, Will, and Levi don't just fly up to get the fruit. The reason is because a long time ago Will tried to fly with magic, so he jumped off the side of the ship and flew. He was so happy he could fly that he did a barrel roll and flew into the water by mistake! So to keep each other from looking ridiculous they never tried it again.

Once they got into the forest they found bananas, coconuts, and mangos. They also (to Bonnie and Will's delight) found a chocolate tree! And to everyone’s delight, a coffee tree and vanilla beans! They also found and killed with magic, four wild hogs. Render and Levi do not eat meat though because they are vegetarians (although Ryan and Reece eat meat all the time).

Once they were back on the boat Render and Levi had fruit salad while the rest had smoked pork. The also had chocolate pudding and vanilla lattes for desert. Over dinner they talked about what to do the next day on which they agreed they'd go fishing and swimming. Then they went to bed and slept like they hadn't slept in three days.
