Ch. 7: The Legend of the Dragon Blade

----Today Render, Levi, Will, Charity, and Bonnie went swimming. After swimming for about three hours Render and Levi came up with a great idea. "Let's go visit my brother!" said Render. "How many do you have other than Levi?" asked Bonnie and Charity. "Three and a sister. My oldest brother is the one we will visit." "What is he like?" said Chair. "He is very wise and a great story teller. He knows most of the legends of Alagasia." Well then, are we just waiting for him to come here?" "Will's right. We should get going. Just jump in the water."


----As soon as they jumped into the water they were outside a large house with a beautiful garden. Then an tall elf came down from a tree and said, "Hello brothers. It has been such a long time since I've seen you. Will! You must have grown a yard since I last saw you! Oh. I'm being terribly rude. Come inside and have a seat. I'll make us some lunch." They then went in the house and it was larger than it had appeared. It had three stories, twelve bedrooms, eleven bathrooms, two kitchens, a study, a game room, a parlor, a dining room, a den, a porch, and two balconies. Once lunch was ready Render's brother told them a story. The Legend of the Dragon Blade.



----"Once, in the time when dragons we're hunted the leader of the dragons came to a wise old wizard and asked him to help them stop the humans and elves from killing off their people. The wizard agreed. He asked three elf men, two human women, and a human man to defeat the hunters. The six agreed, but they could not defeat the hunters with their weapons. The wizard knew this and so he asked the dragons for six shards of dragons egg. Then he made six mystical swords. The sword had a carefully constructed blade and a piece of dragon egg on the hilt. Those swords destroyed many man and dragon, but brought peace between the people and dragons. I did not tell you this story for entertainment," said Render's brother, "But because there is an evil force gaining power. In my studies I have come across it. The only thing that can possibly defeat it is if you find these swords. Will can wield the elven one because he is a rider, but you will need to find another human to help you." "We will try to find someone as soon as we can." said Render. "Well I guess we need to go now." said Levi. "It was nice seeing you." "As it was you. I will come to help you on your quest soon, but do not wait for me or you may loose to to the evil."


----And so the five friends left the large house of many rooms and went in search of the swords.
