The night after they left the house where Render and Levi’s brother lived they were all sitting on the deck with the full moon over them. Will was sitting on the edge of the ship, tempted to jump in, but too deep in thought to do anything, but sit there. Render was floating and meditating. Bonnie was trying to figure out where they were using a map of Alagasia and a navigational tool. Charity was balancing on the yardarm of the main mast. Leviticus was deep into a book that only he knew how to read. Will asked him what it was about and he said it was a book about the Dragon Blade. He also said that his brother placed magical spells on it so you couldn’t read it unless you cast a green glow on it in the light of a full moon. Will was absolutely fascinated by this and tried to read over his slightly shorter friend’s shoulder (but it was in a language he did not know).
Then Leviticus let out a gasp of excitement that made everyone jump. Charity even fell from the yardarm, but Render caught her with magic. They all came over to where Will and Leviticus were and asked what that was all about. He told them that the book contained a map to the location of the Dragon Blade. He said that the first place they needed to pass though was the Mountain of Senselessness. All of them asked what it was and Leviticus told them that it was a mountain where you can not find north, the sun is rises at night and sets in the morning, the mountain is filled with mirages, and most frighteningly if you don’t know where you’re going you will be trapped there forever. Everyone was a bit frightened, but they were ready to do what they needed to.
They set sail for the mountain, but when they were part way there they realized that they had forgotten to find another human. Will had an old friend who lived in a village outside the mountain. They stopped there and everyone met him. His name was Flint Kidd. He was as tall as Charity and as everyone was surprised to learn was her brother. He had come to Alagasia through a tunnel much like the one Bonnie and Charity had come though, but he came through much earlier.
He agreed to help and they left the village and went towards the mountain. They were all glad not to be on the mountain, but the anticipation of the next day was almost unbearable. Render, Leviticus, and Will tried to cheer everyone up by telling stories and using magic to make pictures, but everyone still had trouble sleeping that night except Will who always sleeps well outside.
The next day they started the climb up the mountain. It was cold and windy and the climb wasn’t too steep, but it was still exhausting. As soon as they got onto the mountain the sky became dark. “This is what I told you about.” said Levi. There were pools of water everywhere, but they were not really there. This made everyone’s thirst ever worse. There were not creatures on the mountain, except the dragons and there was an unnatural silence over everything. Will and Bonnie tried to start a conversation, but it ended because they both became too distracted by the strangeness of the place. That night they made a fire and ate what food they brought with them. The dragons did not eat because there were no animals to hunt. Levi told them of the dangers. He said that the rock can come to life and swallow you up into a hole if you walked into a mirage.
On the second day they climbed to the top of the mountain. Once they reached the top they were all shocked to see that the other side of the mountain was gone. Leviticus told them that is was only an illusion and that they should get on the dragons. Once they were all on the three dragons they slid down the mountain at a quick pace and reached the bottom. Once at the bottom Leviticus’ book looked larger. “Has your book grown?” asked Charity. “Yes. It will reveal the next part of our journey.”
That night Leviticus told them that the next part of the journey will require the ship. Will and Render then began to float above ground and glow. Then, on the shore the Golden Dawn appeared in the water.

Very good Will!
Thanks. I was short on inspiration so I decided to get a little weird. I really like how it turned out and I'm looking forward to the next one.
Ahh...that's pretty cool, Will.
